Casa METT Sitges opens a new chapter for high-end boutique hospitality in Sitges. The first establishment under the CASA METT brand by Sunset Hospitality Group blends 19th-century architecture, contemporary design, Italian and Mediterranean gastronomy, a swimming pool, wellness, and a clear dedication to integrating into local life.

The Historic Hotel Capri Recovered for a New Era

The project occupies the former Hotel Capri and preserves several original 19th-century architectural features , seamlessly integrating them into a design that combines historic character with luminous interiors and natural materials. The intention is to maintain an intimate, residential atmosphere that feels much closer to a private home than a conventional hotel.

The hotel features 38 rooms across various categories, many of which boast private terraces. Every room has been conceived to convey a sense of domestic comfort without compromising on five-star standards. Lush gardens and a swimming pool complete the setting , reinforcing the retreat’s connection to Sitges’ Mediterranean climate.

The CASA METT brand champions a boutique hotel concept where guest lodging coexists with gastronomy, social life, and wellness. The Sitges property represents the very first establishment of this line for Sunset Hospitality Group.

Balera Brings Italian Cuisine Poolside

The culinary offerings revolve around Balera, an Italian- and Mediterranean-inspired restaurant focused on seasonal products. The menu is complemented by a refined selection of national and international wines, alongside a cocktail menu inspired by various Italian regions.

Adjacent to the restaurant, the Pool Club serves as the central hub for the hotel’s vibrant social scene. The pool, music, dining, and cocktails share the space throughout the day and extend well into sunset. This experience is not limited to overnight guests: the hotel actively invites local residents and visitors to join in.

This layout expands the traditional boutique hotel model , turning leisure and dining spaces into the core of the experience. Sitges provides the Mediterranean backdrop, while the food and cocktail concepts add an authentic Italian accent.

Wellness, Treatments, and Fitness Complete the Stay

The wellness area features products from the Swiss skincare house Valmont and includes two treatment suites for facial and body therapies (one of them double) , as well as a sauna and shower facilities. It is a concept designed to elevate the stay, placing wellness on equal footing with gastronomy and social life.

The hotel also includes a state-of-the-art gym equipped by Life Fitness, fully outfitted for cardiovascular work, strength building, and mobility training. Together, these elements articulate the four core pillars of the project: accommodation, gastronomy, social life, and wellness.

The debut of CASA METT in Sitges forms part of Sunset Hospitality Group’s expansion strategy across Spain. Following the opening of METT Barcelona in 2025, the group plans to unveil a second CASA METT establishment in Alicante in 2028.
